Melbourne, Australia – Symbos, one of Australia’s fastest-growing customer experience and digital service providers, has acquired CPM Australia, marking a significant step in its growth as a leading end-to-end CX partner.
The acquisition enhances Symbos’ capability, combining CPM’s established contact-centre expertise with Symbos’ digital infrastructure, AI enabled service capability and global delivery network across Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, the Philippines and South Africa.
Together, the expanded business will employ more than 2,000 people.
Symbos, backed by Allegro Funds, is focused on redefining how organisations engage their customers by blending technology and people. The acquisition of CPM strengthens the company’s ability to deliver seamless, omnichannel customer experiences across the entire lifecycle – from sales and service to support and collections.
Avik Choudhuri, CEO of Symbos, said the acquisition accelerates the organisation’s strategic vision of becoming a true end-to-end CX disruptor in the Australian market.
“This acquisition is about capability. CPM brings deep expertise in contact-centre operations and a strong Australian-based management team. Coupled with our digital infrastructure and AI-enabled service design, it positions Symbos to lead the next wave of customer experience delivery in Australia,” Mr Choudhuri said.
“We are an Australian owned and headquartered, digitally enabled end-to-end CX organisation that designs solutions tailored to each customer’s needs.”
The combined capability positions Symbos as a significant challenger with a unique proposition in the sector, delivering the scale of a global operator with the responsiveness and collaboration expected from a local partner.
